Spendthrifts and Tightwads Often Get Married

A new study has found that people pick spouses who have opposite spending habits as their own.

Researchers rated people on their purchasing style, and then asked them how they felt about it. They discovered that those who weren't comfortable with their own spending habits tended to choose marital partners who took the other extreme.
